Lion Pravin De Silva
"Good To Great"
Lion Pravin De Silva is a community leader, senior business executive, sportsman, and committed Lion whose journey combines professional discipline with humanitarian service. A Certified Guiding Lion and Qualified Trainer, he brings strategic vision and measured excellence to his role as District Governor of Lions District 306 D1 for 2026–2027.
His leadership theme, "Good To Great", reflects his focus on strengthening clubs, building leaders, and delivering service projects with measurable community impact. Guided by the vision to be the global leader in community and humanitarian service through the empowerment of volunteers, Lion Pravin drives the district toward operational excellence and deeper community engagement.
Born in Ratmalana and residing in Moratuwa, Lion Pravin is an old boy of St. Peter's College, Colombo 04, and is married to Lady Lion Radhika De Silva. His Lions journey began in 2011 through the Lions Club of Moratu Eliya, where he served as Club Treasurer and later as Club President in 2013/2014.
Throughout his service, Lion Pravin has been recognized as Best Zone Chairperson (Runner-Up), Best Region Chairperson, and Best Fundraising Chairperson. His commitment to service excellence was exemplified by his recognition for a Mega Health Camp. Today, he leads District 306 D1 with discipline, vision, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of Lions service.
