District 306 D1 Distributes Essential Dry Ration Packs to Families in Need
Event Date

Food insecurity remains a critical challenge for many vulnerable families in our urban and suburban neighborhoods. This year, Lions District 306 D1 answered the call with a sweeping Hunger Relief Campaign, packaging and distributing essential dry rations to families, nursing mothers, and low-income households.
Lions and Leo volunteers spent days sourcing, sorting, and packing staple goods including rice, lentils, flour, milk powder, and canned goods ensuring each package provides balanced nutritional support for a household for up to a month.

"True community service starts with addressing basic human dignity. When a family doesn't have to worry about where their next meal comes from, they can focus on education, work, and building a better future." - Project Chairperson
This ongoing project underscores the district's unwavering commitment to building resilient, well-nourished communities throughout the year.
